York County Pennsylvania CollectionThis is an extensive collection of historical and biographical books on York County, PA. These books were published between 1845 and 1953 and containing over 4,600 pages of information. This collection includes major historical & biographical volumes published for York County, as well as a number of obscure historical publications.The larger biographical volumes are an excellent place to start genealogical research as these detail hundreds of family genealogies from the county. The smaller, more obscure publications are an excellent addition to the larger volumes, as they contain information of a more specific focus. Often these smaller publications contain historical and genealogical gems found nowhere else - such as portraits, biographies, and records.
