This is a huge, heavy book that consists of 384 pages published by the Washington Missouri Historical Society for the 150 year Sesquicentennial in 1989.   The index includes 19 pages of family names.   The book is loaded with valuable information regarding the City of Washington, including the early history of the city, churches, organizations, family biographies, memorials, schools, businesses – both new and old –, clubs and a gallery of memories.  This book also includes an additional booklet that extends the original book to 416 pages.     There are hundreds of pictures in this book, and a map on the back cover pages.  The book is like new.  The covers are in excellent shape, there are no bent pages, tears, watermarks or writing in this book.   I bought the book new directly from the Historical Society just about a year ago and used it for my genealogy.   I no longer need it for that particular branch of the family.   This book weighs 5 pounds without packaging, so I will be shipping it by media mail unless you are in a hurry for it and request Priority shipping.     ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------     Payment by Paypal, money order or personal check.
