Built in the early 1920's judging by the design - (we have a production number of E405 but no serial # listing), this is a great sounding Steinway from their classic era, and is in excellent condition throughout.  In addition to its terrific tone & lovely feel, we have just refinished it in a gorgeous, hand-rubbed ebony satin finish and with all nickel plated hardware.  The finish inside on the cast iron plate has a little bit of crazing and was left alone, but still looks very presentable.  Everything else appears to be non-restored and original, including the action, strings, pinblock, etc. with the exception of plastic keytops, which were added later at some point. The pinblock is tight, it holds great tuning, and this piano in great, ready to play condition from top to bottom. Matching bench is also included.
