Description
Scientology Hubbard American Mark VI Electrometer or E-Meter This is a Scientology Hubbard Professional Mark VI Electrometer or e-meter. It is from the 1980s. Externally, the e-meter is in excellent condition. The exterior case of the electrometer is made of cream-colored injection-molded plastic. The Mark VI electrometer’s case consists of a combination of straight and rounded forms. The Mark VI electrometer can be placed in a beautiful cream-colored plastic carrying case, with aluminum trim at the edges, which is also in excellent condition. Inside is formed foam padding to cushion around the electrometer. Also, included with the electrometer in the case are a set of two metal cans, two slotted, rectangular, plastic pieces that slide into each other to form a cross-shaped interior support for the cans, and two sets of electric wire leads. It is unknown whether this electrometer stills works. This version of the Scientology electrometer preceded the current Mark VII electrometer, which was released by Scientology in 1996. However, this Mark VI electrometer uses the same shape and style of injection-molded housing / case as the Mark VII does. This Mark VI version of the electrometer was developed, and then authorized for release and use by L. Ron Hubbard during his lifetime. His date of death was January 24, 1986.
