Programs are in Microsoft Word PowerPoint (churches of Christ / Christian Church /Non-Denominational/ Those concern with the truth of this book) This Study of The Book of Revelation is a Chapter by Chapter Verse by Verse Study in light of the Scripture. I attended Florida (church of Christ) College in 1972-74. The Christian Institute of America ordained me in 1989. I have a Masters in Biblical Studies Diploma From Azusa Pacific University. This work will help fund my plans to get a Doctorate Degree in Biblical Counseling From (Restoration Private College) Master International School of Divinity. I am a (Restoration) Gospel Preacher in Kentucky and have served as a Preacher/elder and have taught adult Bible classes for more than thirty years. I have been a small groups Minister for a church with over 10,000 and was responsible for biblical studies for over 200 small groups. I am actively preaching but on occasion available to preach if you will email me your contact information. 1) A Study of Revelation Apocalypse "lifting of the veil". There is much emotional excitement and abuse pertaining to the Book of Revelation! I put together these 15 Slides to teach you that the book of Revelation is one we can clearly understand. The "lifting of the veil" of John is Apocalypse (Greek: Apokálypsis; "lifting of the veil"), is a term applied to the disclosure to certain privileged persons of something hidden from the majority of humankind.Today the term is often used to refer to the end of the world, which may be a shortening of the phrase apokalupsis eschaton, which literally means "revelation at the end of the age".2) A Study of Revelation "Premillenialism".I put together these 39 Slides to expose the dangers and Very Popular Doctrine of the Rapture Theory (Premillenialism). Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins (The Left Behind Series) have struck a gold mine with this denominational error.  Many Baptists, Pentecostals, 7th Day Adventists, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons and Mega Churches (TBN network) teach a so-called Rapture Theory. Many religious leaders like, Billy Graham, John Hagee, John McArthur, T.D. Jakes, Jesse Duplantis, teach the false doctrine of Premillenialism. I expose where it comes from and what it is exactly? Learn what the battle of Armageddon, the 1000-year reign on earth and the antichrist is from the bible not man.   Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from here. (John 18:36)  We are commanded to "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good" (I Thessalonians 5:21). We are to "beware of false prophets (teachers), which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" (Matthew 7:15). Even if all men believe a false theory that does not make it true and if all denominations accept the theory of premillenialism as true, that would not make it true. Though the false teacher claims to receive support for his theory of premillenialism from Revelation 20, there are seven necessary parts of the premillennial theory that are not stated in Revelation 20 and those are as follows.     1. The second coming of Christ is not mentioned.    2. A bodily resurrection of the righteous is not mentioned.    3. All righteous people gather in Jerusalem.    4. A reign of Christ on the earth.    5. Christ's return to the earth.    6. The length of Christ's reign on the earth.    7. Jerusalem as the capitol and Christ as King. This study will help you understood that Revelation 20 says nothing about an earthly reign of Christ over a primarily Jewish kingdom. Rather, it describes the reigning with Christ in heaven of the souls of believers who have died and that they reign during the time between their death and Christ's Second Coming.3) A Study of Revelation OverviewI put together these 39 Slides to teach you the book of Revelation is one we can clearly understand if we break it in to two main themes THAT ARE VIEWED CHAPTER BY CHAPTER. Chapters 1-11 teach the Fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Revelation 1:1 begins with very important words that informs us as to the nature of this book. The first verse tells us that the things that we are going to read about must quickly take place. Thus the events that we read about are not things that would happen thousands of years later, but were about to begin in the days of the first century readers. Further, Revelation 1:1 tells us that Jesus sent this letter and signified it through his angel. This is important for us to notice. Signified means that the book was literally put into signs. Thus, the things that we will read must be taken figuratively unless the text demands otherwise. Our normal hermeneutic toward the Bible is that we take all things literally unless the text demands otherwise. But verse one of Revelation demands that we take the book symbolically, for the angel put the book into signs.Further, why would God spend the second half of the book saying the exact same thing in the first half of the book? Instead, we must carefully look to understand what else is being revealed to the first century Christians. Chapters 12-22 The Fall of the Roman Empire and Satan thus, the description of the beast in Revelation shows it is the embodiment of all the world empires, specifically the empire that ruled in the days of the first century Christians, the Roman empire. It is the Roman Empire that demanded worship of it and had great power over the whole world (Rev. 13:3-8).4) A Study of Revelation "Revelation of Jesus Christ"I put together these 14 Slides to teach you the book of Revelation is the crowning touch of symbolism used throughout the Scriptures. Revelation brings together many symbols, both in the Old Testament and New Testament, and develops a tremendous cohesiveness of all symbolic language throughout the Bible. Before beginning a study of the book of Revelation there is a need to discuss how to study it to determine the meaning of these symbols in the Bible. We begin by examining how many of the events of the Old Testament symbolize events to come during the Christian Dispensation.Heb. 10:1 "For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near.It is important to understand how many people and events of Old Testament times were likenesses of people and events to come during the Christian dispensation. For example, Moses was a likeness of Christ; David also symbolized Christ as king of God's people; the tabernacle symbolized the church; the rainbow represented a covenant God made with Noah. The Israelites under the Law of Moses lived in a physical, earthly kingdom. Today Christians (spiritual Israel) live in that spiritual kingdom, the church. This symbolic connection between the physical kingdom of Old Israel and the spiritual kingdom of the church is of utmost importance in understanding Revelation. This Power point presentation will help you prepare in your understanding of this great book from God. 5) A Study of Revelation NumerologyThese 8 Slides teach that in the book of Revelation numbers are also used as symbols. We must understand that in many cases the numbers really carry little or no numerical value. Most of the numbers are used as a description of something rather than as having an absolute numerical value. For example, the number 144,000 is used to represent the entire redeemed from the earth, not a literal 144,000 people. It can determine these numbers were used in the Hebrew language by studying how they were used in the first Century. Numbers in the Hebrew language were often used as words. We do something similar with the number 13, which means unlucky. Most people today consider 7 as a lucky number. The parallelism method divides Revelation into separate and distinct visions covering the entire Christian age from the first coming of Christ until judgment. 6) A Study of Revelation SymbolismIn these 10 Slides we will understand that Revelation is a book of symbols. Symbols should not be taken literally, but should be thought of as a description of events God is revealing to us. Symbols in Revelation are figurative in nature; therefore, we must search the Scriptures to find their correct meanings. We must take care to have a biblical reason for the meaning for these symbols and not arbitrarily apply any meaning we might like in order to make it fit our interpretation. In the book of Revelation many times the meaning of a symbol used in one passage may have to be derived from a passage not yet studied. There are also symbols, which may be best understood by collectively studying all passages dealing with them. It is also true that more than one symbol may be used to describe the same thing. 7) 2nd Coming of ChristThe OT pointed to Christ's Coming. The Gospel Accounts affirm that the Messiah has come. The Epistles & the Book of Revelation reveal that Jesus will come again. Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.                             James 5:7 About 1 out of every 25 verses in the NT refers to the Lord's 2nd Coming. There has been throughout the centuries an interest in the 2nd Advent of Christ. As the new millennium approached, the change from the 20th Century to the 21st Century, many books & articles appeared, warning about the Lord's imminent coming i.e., many were predicting that Jesus was coming soon!8) A Study of Revelation (26) PowerPoint StudiesThe next 26 PowerPoint Presentations Covers Revelation Chapter 1-22 and contains 100s of slide that not only accurately describe the correct view we should take of this Apocalypse Book. but these slides bring to life this 1st Century book and brings it into our understanding into the 21st Century. These studies will help you to understand that we need to leave the hype and sensationalist that people have portrayed to make money in the dust. Learn about the Victory that is for the church. This study is great for small or large church group and the verse-by-verse approach will leave the true bible student well feed with the truth. The following are the 26 title presentations followed with the number of slides in each and a brief description.1) Revelation 1 Christ in the Midst    41 Slides We see Christ in the Midst of the seven churches. Notice the promise in verse three to those who read & hear & head the things written in Revelation. 3* "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.2) Revelation 2 To the Angel of the church of Ephesus   14 Slides These 14 Slides helps us better understand the term Angel in the book of Revelation when used in reference to a church is NOT to be understood as a literal angel. It is to be understood as representing certain characteristics and responsibilities of the church. The angels represent those who Christ holds in His right hand.3) Revelation 3 He who has an ear    42 Slides He who has an ear means more than just listening to the words. It means to understand the message and do the things which we are instructed to do. These messages are from the Spirit and describe the word of God as the sword of the Spirit. This is a presentation designed to bring one into a deeper understanding of the church, the plan of salvation and the viewer is invited to obey the gospel.4) Revelation 4 To the Seven ChurchesA throne is always recognized as being symbolic of the great power and authority of a King. Gods throne is set in heaven indicating his total power and authority. No earthly throne can come close to matching the power of this heavenly throne. Gods throne has already been set. It exists today as described in chapter four and we must put our trust in this throne rather than some earthly throne. Revelation 4:3* And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.    (5)Through (25) too much information to list.5) Revelation 4  Before the (Gods) Throne6) Revelation 5  Christ Opens The Book7) Revelation 6  The Seals8) Revelation 7  Who is able to Stand?9) Revelation 8  The Seventh Seal10) Revelation 9  Last Three Trumpets11) Revelation 10 The Little Book12) Revelation 11 Temple of God13) Revelation 12 A Great Sign14) Revelation 13 The Beast15) Revelation 14 The Beast continued16) Revelation 15 The Seven Golden Bowls17) Revelation 16 The Seven Bowls of the Wrath18) Revelation 17 The Great Harlot19) Revelation 18 The Great Harlot continued20) Revelation 19 Gods judgment21) Revelation 20 Physical and Spiritual Israel 22) Revelation 20 Second Death23) Revelation 21 The New Jerusalem24) Revelation 21 The Holy City of God25) Revelation 22 The River of Life26) Revelation Bonus The rapture vs. the Bible Many religious groups believe and teach that Christ will return to this earth to establish a kingdom, over which He will rule from the literal throne of David, in the literal city of Jerusalem, for a literal thousand years.John wrote to the seven churches of Asia saying, I John both your brother and companion in tribulation (Rev. 1:9). Christians were suffering tribulations even at the time John lived. They have suffered tribulation ever since. Paul said, Yea, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12). Punishment of the wicked will take place but it will be in hell and not on earth. Those who look for rapture will look and wait in vain for there will be no rapture. This theory has no basis in the Bible. Be prepared for the second and only coming of the Lord. That day and hour no one knows (Matthew 24:36). We can live each day as if it is the last. Then we will be prepared when He does come.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThe New Testament Scriptures would have been incomplete if the Book of Revelation had not been written. The last book of the Bible is a necessary conclusion to God's revelation of himself and of His plan for the human family. It is in the Book of Revelation that many of the great themes of divine truth are brought to a climactic conclusion. The purpose of the Book of Revelation is to unveil Jesus Christ, and to present Him as the victorious Lord-active, alive, and in full control over all that is happening on earth. He will ultimately defeat every enemy, and will bring peace and order to this troubled planet. The Book of Revelation is the only book in the Bible that begins and ends with a distinct promise of blessing to those who read it and observe its instructions. Chapter 1:3 says "Blessed is he that reads, and they that...keep those things that are written in it. Chapter 22:7 says "Blessed is he that keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.It is best to read and to seek to understand the Revelation in its plain, literal sense. In other words, take the words of the Revelation in their ordinary meaning ("stars" means stars and "earthquakes" means earthquakes), unless the context indicates that the language is symbolic. All of us know there are symbols in the Bible. For example, in Psalm 22, verse 18 prophesied the casting of lots for Christ's garments. This was a literal statement. But verses 12-13 depict the fierceness of the Lord's enemies as "strong bulls" and "ravishing lions." These are symbols with a very plain meaning. THE AUTHORSHIP OF THE BOOK of Revelation, also called Revelation to John, Apocalypse of John (pronounced from Greek Apokalupsis), and Revelation of Jesus Christ is the last canonical book of the New Testament in the Christian Bible. It is the only biblical book that is wholly composed of apocalyptic literature.  The 33 lessons are sent via website download.  After payment is received I will send instructions for downloading.
