Description
Pharrs and Parrs by Henry Newton Pharr, New Orleans, La. 1955, probably a 1st edition.  The full title:  Fharrs and Farrs with other descendants from Five Scotch-Irish Pioneers in America also some other Farrs and Miscellaneous Data, wow, that is a mouth full!  The book has 604 unindexed pages, alas.  I will be happy to try and locate a name for you if I can....  There are a few letters and notes and newpaper clippings in the book as follows:  July 5, 1984 from Indiana, Mr. John A. Farr to Mr. Rolland Walters Denver, Colorado, Feb 23 1983 from John A. Farr to Mr. Rolland Walters, Rocky Ford, Colorado, June 29 1978 from Werners in Vandalia, Mo, to Mr. Rolland Walters, a newpaper article about Rev. John Farr, a note with the name Erik Glen 1972, a newpaper article about a money drawer attached to a card someone wrote about a similiar drawer, M's Reminiscenses Sept. 25, 1977 a full page, type story about the family, paper clipped to page 369 a note about Smiley Meslin Parr, a newpaper clipping paper clipped to page 375 regarding Mrs. Louise Lynn, a note paper clipped to page 376 regarding Lance Hughes and Rae Morris and others, this page has some notes regarding the McMillan's, a note paper clipped to page 379 regarding Smiley M. Whinery, a letter paper clipped to page 422 from Neil Banter to Olive A. Walters Jan 26, 1965.  In the front of the book:  Olive A. Walters, 2045 So. Clarkson Stl, Denver, Colorado.  This book looks great inside, but on the side of the spine there are a few cracks in the binding.  This book is a light blue/green.  If would like me to look up someone I will do my best, but without an index it may be a challenge.  This book is listed at $300 plus on the internet.  Good bidding.
