I only use select Solid Red Oak to build these urns that will last a lifetime on your shelf or mantle. It is a beatiful final resting place for that loved one that gave so much. Perfect for dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, lizards, or whatever.Size of urn is 8 inches wide by 5 inches deep and 5-3/4 inches tall.This urn will hold the ashes of up to a 35 pound live weight pet and are added to the urn from the bottom by removing two screws and inserting the bag of ashes and replacing the bottom with the two screws. All joints are joined together with dovetails, like quality crafted furniture used to be built with. This provides a very tight and professional joint that will last a life time. The hinges are recessed into the rear panel to give a nice tight fit.Felt pads on the bottom of  the urn will protect your furniture. The top lid opens to provide a space for pet tags, collars, pictures etc. The photo can be inserted into the frame by removing the four screws that hold the frame and the acrylic face plate. The engraving on the label can include your pets name, year of birth and passing or whatever you want and is included in the selling price. There is room for 20 spaces on each line.
