There were only 200 copies of this book printed. The person who originally owned it wrote an inscription on one of the first blank pages that reads; Bought Nov 21, 1902 from John H. Williams Bellows Falls, VT. Copies left with him to sell Paid # ¤ Ø. (the second symbol is actually a square with a dot in the center, not available on my computer), F. M. Willson Bellows Falls VT. On the first blank inside page is written in pencil; ed. Ltd. To 200 copies. Opposite the title page are pictures of the exterior and interior of the church followed by a sheet of rice paper. The title page reads; RECORDS OF THE FIRST CHURCH OF ROCKINGHAM, VERMONT, From Its Organization, October 27, 1773, To September 25, 1839. Copied By THOMAS BELLOWS PECK, With an Historical Introduction. Reprinted from the New England Historical and Genealogical Register. BOSTON PRESS OF DAVID CLAPP & SON. 1902. This book is hard bound, cloth covered, measures 9 5/8ths by 6 ½ inches and has 69 hand cut pages, (size varies). This book survived in remarkable condition, it has a dent in the lower corners where it must have been dropped, other than that just normal wear to the corners.
