Description
Tarocchi Di Robot The deck is done in a high-tech fantasy art style with (naturally) robots as the figures in the cards.  The robots have a sleek, attractive, even sexy look to them as they maneuver their way through the tarot archetypes.  Titles and order in the Major Arcana follow standard Marseille-style; Justice is 8 and Force, or Strength, 11.  The other titles are all traditional.  Titles appear in Italian only and are accompanied by the Arabic numerals in a very cool futuristic typeset at the top of the card in the white border.  Additionally, the images are bordered with a colored line, with a matching square box at the top next to the title.  This colored border changes colors according to the suits.  The Major Arcana are bordered in a pale green color.   In the Minor Arcana, the suits have all been renamed (redesigned in some cases) to better fit the robotic theme.  Colored borders are different here for each suit; Nulla, or Voids, has a green border; Lasers have a blue border; Scarabs have a violet border; and the fourth suit, Luci, or Lights, has a teal border.  The Voids are my favorite suit as they show basically this plasma blob creeping across the viewing area from card to card, beginning at the Ace and progressing till it has covered and moved across the inage area.  It's just cool.  Court titles are Fante (Page), Cavallo (Knight), Regina (Queen), and Re (King).   The cards themselves are approximately standard sized and are printed on the usual card stock, making them handle and shuffle easily.  Edges are buffed to a smooth finish and the corners are rounded.  The back design is a reversible battleship-gray riveted-metal look design.  The booklet which comes with the deck is printed in full color and in all Italian but seems to mainly focus on the history of tarot card reading and deck development, with very little about this deck in particular New!
