The cross is made from Palm wood and is quite heavy and very strong. Jesus and the INRI inscription are from Crocodile wood which is a white hardwood from Indonesia. The detail, as can be seen in the photos, is superb and includes a crown of thorns. The crucifix would make an heirloom to pass down, or as a unique affirmation or Christening gift. It has a small hook at the top for easy hanging on a wall. Brand new. Note, as they are hand carved from wood, each one will have a slightly different colour and wood grain.
