The book was published in 1926 by the S.J. Clarke Publishing Company. The book is filled with biographies of the residents of Washington County with an index in the rear and has 687 numbered pages. There are also numerous pictures of these residents but I am not sure whether these are engravings or not. The book is bound in rich green cloth and has colorful endpapers and mottled leaf edges (see pictures). The book is in good condition with the exception of the top rear corner being bumped hard enough to break the binding. Also the bottom rear corner has been rubbed through to the board and the top rear of the spine has a tiny rub through. That said the book is really in good condition without staining, the lettering on the spine is bold and clear, and the hinges are solid without any problems. A great book for those  interested in the people and history of Washington County. The book will be well packaged and shipped in a box. Delivery confirmation is included with shipping.
