It's really easy to do too!“Dave, I got the hand in the mail last week. When I opened the box I was very happy with the prop hand because I already had my show planned out in my head. I did what you said to do. I got a small, cheap plexiglas fish tank and some red velvet. I placed the hand on the red velvet and the plexiglas fish tank upside down over the hand on top of a table. It made a great presentation I must say! Then I put a plastic ticket deposit bucket (locked) next to the hand on the table with the signs about the one dollar wish. I had the setup behind some rice screen room dividers I got at the flea market. Since I sell at the flea market every week anyway, I was anxious to setup my new sideshow and add to the antiques I sell there. I thought it would just be a great attention getter and help me sell my antiques but it was so much more! Anyway, I setup my sideshow. I made some banners for the “High Hand of Voodoo” for outside the show. I also went to Costco and got a cheap portable TV / DVD player combo and I have the Voodoo movie playing and that really get's them lined up!!!! I charged just $1 for people to see the hand. My first weekend I made $400 in admission alone! But the wishing bucket produced another $300!!! for a grand total of $700 for the weekend! That was found money! The High Hand of Mamba Shampti the Voodoo Witch of Haiti In the year 1804 Mamba Shampti began her reign as voodoo queen over the village of Verrettes where she lived. Mamba Shampti was well known for her voodoo powers long before the time she arrived in Haiti. She became the person that the Haitian villagers would seek out for her remarkable healing abilities and good strong juju. Mamba Shampti served as the revered healer of the village for many years and was credited with being able to grant anyone‘s deepest desires. Mamba Shampti could make whoever she wanted to into a King. This was proven many times throughout history. Mamba Shampti would perform her voodoo ritual at the cost of one dollar, then wave her “High Hand of Voodoo” over a person and soon he would find himself a wealthy man. Carlo Gens found out firsthand when he met Mamba Shampti in 1816 and received her blessing. Before meeting Mamba Shampti, Carlo was a simple farmer. Within one year after Mamba Shampti’s blessing, Carlo was a millionaire several times over making his fortune in the sugar markets. When Mamba Shampti died in 1818 her “High Hand of Voodoo Power” was taken and preserved as a charm of prosperity for the village.
