You are bidding on a vintage sympathy card stand, used in a funeral home by visitors to express their condolences. There are two card holders and a writing surface as pictured. This stand is very similar to one we sold earlier (see item 180285925544), but this one has a brass finish instead of aluminum) The writing surface can be removed and can be resurfaced with material of choice, see pic of screws on underside that hold the tablet in place. All metal parts appear to be made of aluminum with perhaps a brass finish. There is some oxidation on the base as this item was in storage for a long time. Also, there is some loss of the paint on the figurine, visible in pics. This stand measures 35.50 inches high to the top of the tray, the crucifix is 11" high.. The large base(to prevent tipping) is about 13" in diameter.
