These Lion Head Baguas originated from the Feng Shui Masters in Taiwan are specially used for houses suffering from the T-junction sha or sha chi from the nearby cemetery. The Lion Head Bagua is considered a very fierce bagua that is used to deflect strong yin chi. The Lion is depicted fiercely biting on two magical swords. These two swords are called Seven Star Swords. The Seven Star Swords were used by olden day Taoist shamans to cast magical spells to ward off evil spirits. The name 'Seven Stars' is actually a misdemeanor. The Seven Stars in Chinese lore actually refer to the North Dipper stars, which really have two additional hidden stars. These stars are where the "Luo Shu Nine Stars" of Feng Shui derive its meaning from. Their names respectively are "Tan Lang, Jue Men, Lu Chuan, Wen Chang, Lin Jing, Wu Chu, Puo Kwan, Fu and Pi". These nine stars are reflected by the dots located around the Lion Head Pa Kua. From the top of the Bagua with nine dots, this represents the Li trigram while the one dot at the bottom represents the Kan trigram. On the fierce looking lion head itself, we can see the Earlier Heaven Bagua. The early heaven sequence of the trigrams is what endows this tool with its magnificent power. Inside this Earlier Heaven Bagua, are the words "Great Force". This is deemed the reflection of extreme yang energy to counter strong sha chi. If you inspect closely, you will notice that the layout of the Lion Head Bagua is indeed very symbolic by itself. The Later Heaven Bagua arrangement is seen embracing the Lion Head, which in turn holds the powerful Earlier Heaven Bagua on its forehead. The Later Heaven Bagua symbolizes the ever-changing universe, while the Earlier Heaven Bagua denotes the perfect universe. This represents that the power or the force of the lion will counter the 'negative' effects of the sha chi and returning it to balance and perfection. Note: Do not place this Bagua inside the house.
