Key points to ask any seller: What are the monthly dues as stated on the transfer paperwork? Is the account transferable? Is there a Transfer fee and how much? (most memberships have one of $100.00) Is there a rate increase?  (most memberships have an increase of (12.00 a year or 10%) whichever is a greater benefit to bally) Is the account in good standing? When is the account paid till? Does the seller have the transfer paperwork in-hand for quick transfer? Will you provide me with the membership number and name on the account before paying? I have all transfer paperwork in hand ready to ship once payment is made.  With someone else you may win an auction just to find they didn't even call Bally's to order the transfer paperwork. (7 - 10 business days minimum) The monthly dues that are listed in my auctions come directly from the transfer paperwork.  You may find when buying from others the dues in the auction aren't the same as the dues on the transfer paperwork.  For example you win an auction which states the dues are $8.78 a month, but then when you receive the paperwork its says $12.00 a month on the transfer paperwork.  The Reason.  Bally's offered them a price break for a one year renewal at the rate of $105.36.  Take the $105.36 / 12 months = $8.78  But the dues are still $12.00.  If there is no renewal offer the next year your are paying 13.10 a month.  Not the $9.78 like you may have though. Note:  I do not sell memberships that have Rate hikes.  You may purchase a membership else where on Ebay that states $6.88 in the auction to find in six months that the dues jump to $12.00 a month or even 17.00.  It happens. Last Note:  Always make sure the account is current before paying.  Accounts not in good standing can be a time consuming costly mess to fix.  Bally's charges Fees and penalties for accounts that are in past due status.  Fees that you will have to pay before transferring.  All accounts must be in good standing as a requirement for transfer. Steps for transferring the membership: Upon completion of payment, the buyer will be sent: 1.      The signed membership transfer agreement to be completed by the new member. (must be 18 years or older) 2.      Membership card. (optional) 3.      A copy of Sellers License. Upon receiving the documents, the buyer must complete and send to Bally: 1.      The completed membership transfer agreement form. (as mentioned above) 2.      A photocopy of both the buyer's and seller's driver's license. 3.      A one time only $100.00 transfer fee to Bally. 4.      Old Membership card. (optional) Membership transfer completion letter will arrive from Bally around 2-3 weeks after transfer paperwork is mailed.  However, you may enter the club immediately after receiving the transfer paperwork from me by asking for a temporary pass while showing the transfer paperwork to a Bally associate.
