Description
Here is the RARE, highly prized and sought-after deck that is now an out-of-print collector's item. The Ancestral Path Tarot was one of the first multicultural decks and is also one of the most beautiful decks ever created! It is currently selling on ebay for $170 and that auction is with only the LWB (Little White Book), NOT the full book that I am offering. This deck is in very good to near mint condition. I have only used it a few times because I wanted to preserve its beauty. It includes all 78 cards and there are no defects on any of them. The book is also in new or like new condition with no highlighting or underlining, wrinkles, folds, etc. The box that holds the cards is showing a bit of age and I do not have a box that holds both the book and the cards.Mostly I have used this deck for meditation purposes because its images are so entrancing. The artwork on the Major Arcana is some of the most stunning you will ever see, and the suits are divided like this:Wands (in this deck, called "Staves") are Egyptian and depict vivid scenes from ancient Egyptian life.Cups are Arthurian and contain various references to that beloved Celtic legend.Swords are Asian and beautifully depict Buddhist, Samurai, Ninja and other iconic figures.Pentacles are here called "Sacred Circles" and feature various scenes from Native American mythology, such as Medicine Women and Vision Quests. The book is a quite interesting read. The authors provide interpretations of the cards that I have not encountered elsewhere, and they very much add to one's understanding of the Tarot in general. There is also wonderful insight offered into the history of the cultures involved in this deck. This deck is appropriate for beginners or experts alike and IMO belongs in the hands of anyone who appreciates the contributions of various cultures (or who is an old enough soul to have participated in some of them).Shipping to the US will be a flat rate of $8.00 for Priority Mail, including tracking number and insurance, as I would not trust such a beautiful work of art to the regular mail service. I will accept bids from other countries, but you must contact me first so that I can calculate the correct postage charge. Payment will be by Paypal only. I cannot accept any return of this item, so please feel free to ask any questions before bidding.Thank you for bidding and Blessed Be!
